4. Standardized protocol
Bluetooth is standardized wireless, meaning that a high level of compatibility among devices is guaranteed. Bluetooth will connect devices to each other, even if they are not the same model.

5. Low interference
Bluetooth devices almost always avoid interference from other wireless devices. Bluetooth uses a technique known as frequency hopping, and also low power wireless signals.

6. Low energy consumption
As a result of Bluetooth using low power signals, the technology requires very little energy and will use less battery or electrical power as a result. This is an excellent benefit for mobile devices, as Bluetooth will not drain the battery. (more…)

Nokia 7500 Prism is a tri-band GSM smart camera phone. It has a 2 inches, 16 M colours TFT display that has a resolution of 240 x 320 pixels. The device is equipped with a 2 megapixel camera that has a resolution of 1600 x 1200 pixels. Its built-inWAP 2.0 browsers shows web pages in XHTML format. Its phonebook can store upto 1000 contacts. There is enough room in the device’s phonebook to store information related to each contact’s email address, job title, birth-dates and nicknames etc.

The Prism supports popular music file formats like MP3, AAC, eAAC+ and WMA. Its predictive T9 text input application automatically corrects spelling and grammatical errors as one types texts into the Prism. It has 30 MB of internal memory that can be expanded further by using a 2microSD memory card. The handset measures 109 x 44 x 14 mm and weighs just 83 gm. The device makes use of a standard Li-ion 700 mAh (BL-4B) battery that has a standby time of upto 240 hours and a talktime of upto 2 hours and 50 minutes.

The Nokia 7500 Prism comes loaded with a number of Java and 3D games. The 7500 does allow a dose of personalisation. One can always replace the device’s blue plastic ring that encircles its sides and bottom ends with a choice of his or her favourite colours.
