Create Iphone Ringtones
I think it is crazy to pay 99 cents for iPhone ringtones if you could create them by yourself, for free. It is actually pretty easy to create free iphone ringtones, you do not even need additional programs, just iTunes and the music, that’s all.
The music has to be in m4a format which means that you might need to convert it in iTunes from mp3 to m4a using the aac codec. Once the music is converted you simply rename the file from m4a to m4r and drag and drop the new ringtone into a playlist in iTunes.
Once that is done you only need to add the new ringtone to your iPhone and sync it. That’s all that needs to be done to create ringtones for your iphone. It is also possible to download free iphone ringtones this way. You could use the samples offered in the iTunes store to create your iPhone ringtones for example.
