Thanks to Jaz Lai who is a network marketing lead generation expert i now know that Yahoo! is one of the biggest sources of internet traffic – and you can use it for free!

Here’s how to tap into Yahoo and drive loads of targeted visitors to your network marketing website. This page will even show you how to brand yourself as an authority figure.

Many people go to Yahoo Answers to ask a question or seek information regarding a certain topic. Yahoo Answers is in fact quite similar to forum marketing. The main difference between Yahoo and forums is that with Yahoo you also get the benefit of search engine rankings. And you get to leave your signature at the end of the post as well!

One of the main reasons why funny yahoo answers is so effective when it comes to getting leads for your network marketing business is that when people ask certain questions – especially if it is about building a network marketing opportunity, you will have the chance to give them an answer – simply by stating your opinion or by sharing your knowledge. They will see you as an authority figure and you can build your credibility there.

Once you have authority and people trust you, it is so easy to get them to visit your website. You can then even get them to join your downline or buy your products!

So let’s look at some ways to generate traffic:

• Try and answer as many questions as you can. Yahoo Answers works by using a points system. You gain points for answering as many questions as you can and you score big points for getting the best answers if they are voted by the person asking the question (remember, the one posting the question could be your friend, so work together with him or her).

• You need to have a great signature at the end of your post – you can place your URL or even your blog address (assuming that you have a blog that is about network marketing – if you don’t have one, it is good to make one).

• Look for questions that are quite relevant to your network marketing business – especially if it concerns your product. Let’s say people are looking for ways to clean metal, so recommend your metal cleaner there. Just make sure you are giving constructive information rather than ‘spamming’ links.

• This isn’t strictly good etiquette but could be tried occasionally. If you don’t find relevant questions regarding your network marketing business, there is one thing that you can do and it is very simple – simply get another Yahoo user to post a question about your network marketing product. You can be the one who answers the question and you can even ask the user to vote your answer as the BEST answer.

Remember to build your reputation on Yahoo! You will be able to get lots of traffic because Yahoo Answers tend to rank very well on Google and because Google treats Yahoo! as an authority.

You may find that the quality of printing deteriorates, as the Canon Printer Ink Cartridges begin to run low. Isn’t?
At this point, it is better to replace the ink cartridge or get it refilled. Replacing the cartridge of your printer is not a difficult task at all. All it requires is a little technological know- how.
In the following write up, we will talk about how you can effectively step- by- step replace your printer cartridge.

The first step is to turn your Canon printer on and raise the lid located on the front. This will cause the carrier of the cartridge to centre so that you can easily access it. The next thing to do is prepare your newly purchased ink cartridge for the installation process by removing it from its box. Take the cartridge’s orange protective cap off and tape on the ink opening.
The ink opening is located mostly on the bottom of the cartridge.
You should now set the prepared cartridge on a paper plate in order to ensure that the ink doesn’t get on your desktop, carpet or any other important document of yours.
After this process, you should remove the old cartridge from your Canon Printer by simply lifting the small green lever on the cartridge carrier. Take a note of how exactly the cartridge is situated in the carrier.
This will help you in putting the new cartridge back in the carrier.

You can now take the old cartridge out of the printer gently. The next step is to place the new cartridge in the printer. This process needs to be done very carefully and for that you need to make sure that it is facing in the similar direction as the previous cartridge. This process will need a gentle, yet steady push of the new cartridge into your Canon Printer’s carrier.
The cartridge isn’t in till the time you hear it pop into place.

Finally, push the green lever back to close it and properly close the door of the printer.

The process of replacing the cartridge is not that difficult, still there are a few precautions you need to take while performing this process.

- Do not touch the supply port of your cartridge or its surrounding area, as the valve in the ink supply port is designed to contain excess amount of ink that may be released.
- If a cartridge becomes empty, you can’t continue to copy it, even if the other cartridge has some ink. Therefore, you should replace the empty cartridge before copying.
- Do not refill the cartridges; rather replace it with a new one.
- After replacing the cartridge, if the ink is low, it might become empty. So as soon as the message indicating the low ink appears in front of you, prepare a new cartridge for your printer.

Yes, now even you can create your very own auction on the radio! With the arrival of Bid4Spots, advertising on radio was made possible not only for big companies that have huge promotional budget, but also the small company and individuals who are willing to hold an auction. This is a brand new, online marketplace for radio stations to sell their unsold commercial inventory easily and confidentially.

In this reverse auction platform, radio stations actually do the bidding and the advertisers reap the benefits. This is a simple, easy and hassle free way to hold an auction with maximum possible exposure to the items on sale.

If you are still not sure as to how this business is working, visit Bid4Spots’s advertising on radio page and view their live demo — this will explain in a few minutes how the whole business is working and why you should chose them for your auction. And no, it’s not any expensive, you can buy a peak time spot on the radio for very low $xx! It really is worth checking and I think has a big potential and future.

While the technology keeps advancing and going further, reaching unbelievable limits every time, it’s not always easy to be truly impress with a certain device. Especially if we talk about devices such as antennas that has been on the market in different variations for long generations now. However, when it comes to networking, Intermec managed to impress easily with their already quite famous rfid antenna vehicle mount and the glowingly popular fixed Vehicle computers. It’s been released a while ago and prices are fairly reasonable. If you go to check these links, spare a minute to look at the specs of the rfid antenna vehicle mount, you will be amazed how such a high technology can manage to work in such a small device.

As far as I could remember, Intermec were also known for their wlan security , which is a perfect solution to ensure network security and privacy, we all know the importance of these two elements when it comes to networks, and Intermec manages to guarantee that. Bottom line is, if you need reliable, fast and most important – secure network solutions, follow the link above and I am sure you will not be disapointed. After all, there are plenty of network companies and devices but most of them don’t deliver quality for your money, right?

Just a while ago, mobile connection was a luxury that very few people had, but slowly mobile internet connection not only came in fashion but also became a mainstream. It could not, however, spread as fast we would want because not every laptop supported mobile broadband, there was no enough providers to cover the entire area of country (which made it rather useless, as you could not connect outside the range zone) and on top of it all — the prices were far from being affordable.

Today, the situation with broadband is totally different. All the major providers offer mobile connection using a small USB-powered device, so all your laptop needs to have is a USB port. Having said that, let’s not forget that thanks to the never-ending competition, we — the simple users, could benefit from extreme prices downfall over the past year. Nowadays, you can get annual mobile connection starting from only 165 pounds, and let’s face it — being connected everywhere and any time worth this money. While prices and connection speed vary, on today’s market it became very hard to pick the right mobile broadband connection that will give you the best value for your money and suit your needs, and this is where mobile comparison websites come handy. One of them, which I visited today — broadband-expert.co.uk, offers the most convenient and easy to follow comparison chart between different providers. You can see all the companies listed on one page, with price (monthly and annual), download limit, speed, as well as rating assigned by the users. Check out the comparison I am talking about here. This site is practically ideal if you are looking to get your laptop connected in the UK and want to have 99%+ coverage at any time for just a few pounds a month.

Of course, you will not be able to receive an extremely fast speed via the mobile, my mobile connection, for instance, is significantly slower than the one I have at home through the cables, but this could also be a result of having a cheap mobile connection, which obviously will not allow me to use a lot of virtual bandwidth. This brings me to another great feature, which I found of the above mentioned website, – speed test. It’s a free broadband connection test which you can run any time, and if you specify the price you pay for your connection, you will be able to compare (upon test results completion) where you’d have got a better deal, lower price and higher speed.

The point of the site is to show you, that most users never compare before signing up with a certain provider and end up having a slow connection for triple price. We are not used to compare broadband provicers, but we should, unless you really don’t care about the quality of the internet you will get for your hard earned cash. Check out their website is you want to run an extensive and objective broadband comparition, especially for mobile connection.

If you belong to the older set, you probably do not realize the importance of the ever-popular World of Warcraft game. Husbands left their wives, kids dropped out of school, and a lot of other conflicts were caused due to the incurable addition this fascinating game causes. Once you try, you really can’t stop anymore, so I thought I would dedicate a small post to the most popular account retailing companies. This website that allows you to buy a wow account online. That’s right, WoW’s accounts can be securely purchased over the internet and moreover, they are guaranteed to be active and original. We are talking about a company based in Canada, that has been a part of the MMORPG community for many years now, both as customer and seller.

You will have your account delivered within 30 minutes after the purchase and a big plus is that you can pay with paypal, (as well credit card), which allows a much wider audience to be able to make purchases without having to ask their parents or someone with a credit card at hands. There is a big selection of accounts for sale, you can browse their website and chose what you like best and what suits your needs. As far as I could see, the prices are not the cheapest, we are talking about xxx $ and xxxx $ prices but of course it also depends on the account type, character and level.

I am sure if you are one of the WoW addicts though, you will pay any money for such a treasure, so check them out. Good luck!

Photography is a growing passion for many people. In the advent of digital photography, with auto focus and mega pixel rate reaching the millions, it is becoming increasingly difficult to take a bad photograph. This has lead to camera wielding maniacs at every opportunity and numerous websites and online communities that store billions of images that the picture taking precious dump on there every day. Where has the love gone?

I consider myself a photographer, in a true sense. I’m all geeked up over it, I know my apertures and F stops, the types of film speeds needed for certain shoots, I know the meaning of the word manual. I own various lenses and have a range of cameras that use film, yes, the celluloid reels that capture a hardcopy image of the world around us. I have a medium format camera and an old Kodak Brownie. I still get to take a picture and have no idea how it actually looks until I pick up the images after processing. What a feeling that is, the anticipation of the most beautiful shot that has ever been taken mixed with the fear that the roll came out blank and that those one-off moments are lost forever.

These are all things the digital age of photography is missing. Sure it is great that the camera has become an accessible tool for the masses, but it is lacking a quality, a passion and sincerity. It is becoming the fast food joint of art. Maybe this is what the painters said about photography when it first came out, they did claim that it would be the death of painting. Has digital become the death of film? I know I should be less cynical about the pixel rate revolution, but it seems that photographers that have learned their trade, have made the camera a tool for their art, have mastered the process of producing a perfect picture; it seems to me that these people have had the lens cap well and truly placed on their lenses and have literally been pushed out of the picture. Pardon the pun.

Because there is no such thing as a bad picture, the really talented ones are becoming hard to spot. A great picture nowadays is more based on the quality of the camera and the interestingness of the subject, discounting the skill involved in producing a valid picture with traditional methods. Digital photography however, does come with its own set of skills and this has the potential to become a type of photography in itself and allow traditional photography the room to breathe again.

In the digital arena, playing and experimenting with the settings, as one would with a manual camera, uses the tool to stretch it to its limits. The type of distortions and burnouts differ greatly from film, and the post production of the images is a new type of development process. Rather than being in a darkroom and playing around with development and exposure times, using the likes of Photoshop programmes mean cropping, straightening, saturation, contrast are easily achieved tasks. Full on manipulation and doctoring is just as easy and a competent user is able to adjust an image and tweak it into perfection. Being able to take control of images is a wonderful skill and should be embraced by those that practice in the digital arena to produce posters and books that advertising agencies would envy. The skill is out there, and the application, the digital era has a destination.

Try as people might to protect their valuable laptops from damage of any kind, it can happen so easily. Anything that we carry around with us all the time is in jeopardy of be damaged or lost because we do take it everywhere. It goes from the house, to the car, from the car, to school or the office, we take it with us to lunch, or any other place where we might need it and these days that can be anywhere.

What we have to do is learn that it has to be protected and handled with caution even when we get so busy that we can not think straight. It has to become second nature to keep an eye on it and make sure we keep it out of harms way. It is easy to put it in the back seat of the car and then throw in a couple of bags of groceries in on top of it. Laptops are being made much more durable lately, but they are not indestructible.

With this in mind there are a few precautions that we should take with laptops because the risk of them being damaged in some will be greater by putting them in certain situations. One of these risk is by keeping them anywhere near kids. Children are naturally curious and even if they do not mean to do it harm they can. Things get spilled, buttons get punched, or they might decide to sit on it. Just be very careful with your laptop around children.

Taking your laptop to certain places just makes no sense and would just be asking for trouble. The bathroom is one place and swimming pools or hot tubs are another. You never want to deliberately take your laptop anywhere that it can get moisture or water in it. Even when you are at your desk at home it is smart to keep drinks like coffee or soda well away from it because these types of beverages spilled into a laptop can be even more damaging than water.

If your laptop is ever wet by water or any other liquid it is important to turn it off immediately and unplug it if it is running off of electricity. If it has been damaged by plain water, you can take off the covers and allow it to dry for several days and then try and turn it on. Sometimes they will work, but not always. If another liquid like soda is spilled into it, you may as well take it to be repaired by a qualified technician. If the damage is not too bad it might be repaired but there is no guarantee.

You might be a football fan, a movie buff, or non-English speaker who is missing watching channels in his/her native language – you think of an opportunity to watch live satellite TV of your choice as a God-send. Well, probably, you are not aware of the news, but the technology did make it happen – now you can watch thousands of live satellite TV channels, including ones that are not available anywhere in North America, even with the biggest paid satellite and cable TV providers!

What is even better – you can watch live satellite TV anywhere as long as you have a PC or laptop and an Internet connection available. In the office or while traveling – now you don’t have to sacrifice your favorite game and miss serial episodes. You can enjoy watching movies 24/7 and forget about pay-per-view mode.

Expand your outlook and watch all sorts of channels from all over the globe – both in English and local languages. The latest revolutionary product called satellite TV for PC software has made many dreams come true.

Of course, speaking about options to watch live satellite TV on computer (which means mobility and convenience), the software is not the only method. Free satellite TV streaming websites make a good alternative if you have found what you need in the very limited number of channels they provide.

Unfortunately, a slow streaming speed is a frequent complaint from the users. Other online satellite TV providers charge a monthly or per-view fee, which may be cheaper than what you would pay to your regular satellite TV company, but still quite a costly option.

In case you are thinking about upgrading your computer and getting a PCTV card installed, you need to know that all the necessary hardware can cost you even more than a satellite dish set up would. To watch live satellite TV with a digital quality using this method you may need to invest in quite a lot of extra features, so the option is good only if you are not on a restricted budget.

Needless to say, illegal methods that simply steal the satellite signals are the worst option, because ultimately all of them lead to disappointment and waste of money and time. None of them provides a quality viewing experience you expect. So, don’t try to save a few bucks by violating the law – legal and easy to use satellite TV for PC software is not expensive and gives you an opportunity to watch live satellite TV of your choice for a one-time fee, eliminating recurring charges whatsoever.

Grab the software needed to watch satellite TV on computer, tuning into hundreds of LIVE world channels of sports, news, movies, music and kids program.

As Hamza Malik says, technology is evolving at a rapid pace. With new products, or better versions of older products being released every year, older products are rendered useless. Every household has an assortment of ‘outdated’ technology. Technology left unused for years, covered with layers of dust.

But often the usefulness of these ‘outdated’ products is only limited by our creativity and willingness to experiment.

I recently noticed an old Sony stereo system, and an old Dell Pentium III desktop lying around the house. At first I though about disposing of these, but then I thought better. I ended up with a setup that allows me to remotely play music on the stereo system using any device with wi-fi and a browser, whether it be a desktop, laptop, Palm Pilot, HP iPAQ, or a cell phone.

How it basically works:

The Dell computer, which is connected to the stereo system, acts as a server on the LAN. Other devices on the LAN can either stream songs to the server, or remotely access the server and launch locally stored songs on it.

The following explains how I accomplished this setup. It assumes that you already know how to setup a wireless router.

The following hardware was used:

- Sony Stereo System

- Old Dell CPU (500 MHZ Pentium III, 128 MB Ram, 6 GB Hard Drive)

- A Y cable (male stereo 1/8-inch plug to two male RCA plugs)

- An Ethernet cable

- Speedtouch wireless router

- Monitor

- Keyboard

- Mouse

Note: The monitor and mouse is only required when the computer is being set up. Once the software has been installed and correctly configured, the computer only needs a keyboard attached (don’t mix it with a longboard skateboards LOL) to it to boot up. If a laptop is being used as the server instead, the extra hardware is not needed.

The following software was used:

-Microsoft Windows XP Professional Edition

-VLC Media Player

-TightVNC server and viewer

Note: The same setup could be obtained using a different operating system, such as Linux or Mac OS, since the software required is available for these operating systems as well.

What I did, step by step

1) I hooked up the monitor, keyboard, and mouse to the Dell CPU

2) I powered it on, inserted the Windows XP CD, and booted off the CD

3) Following the onscreen steps, I formatted my 6 GB hard drive, and installed Windows XP on it

4) After the installation was complete, I plugged the computer into the router using the Ethernet cable

5) I launched up the browser, and downloaded VLC Media Player from http://www.videolan.org/

6) I installed VLC media player

7) I downloaded TightVNC from http://www.tightvnc.com/

  I installed TightVNC

(During the installation, you will be asked to ‘Select Additional Tasks’. When asked, make sure to select both boxes. This will register TightVNC server as a system service, and start it whenever windows starts)

9) I set a password for the VNC server

10) I went to Control Panel -> Power Options, disabled hibernate and standby, and set ‘When I press the power button on my computer’ to shutdown

11) I went to the properties of the network connection, opened up TCP/IP, and set a static IP address. The IP I set was 10.0.0.5. The range for IP addresses differs from router to router. Consult your router’s manual, or the internet if you need to find out the IP range for your router. More instructions on how to set a static IP address can be found online.

12) Using the Y cable, I connected the computer to the stereo system. The male 1/8-inch plug goes into the audio out port on the sound card. The red RCA plug goes into the right “AUX in” port on the stereo, and the other RCA plug goes into the left “AUX in” port.

13) The stereo was set to AUX

After this, I unplugged the monitor and mouse from the CPU. I neatly stacked the CPU, with the keyboard, under the table on which the stereo was placed

If the power button is pressed, the computer boots, loads up Windows XP, and loads up the VNC server. Pressing the power button again shuts down Windows and turns off the computer.

This CPU is basically a server with a permanent IP on the network, which can receive streams from other devices on the network, and play them on the stereo.

HOW TO USE THE SERVER TO REMOTELY PLAY MUSIC

There are two ways to go about playing music

The first one

is streaming music. This means the music is located on some other device, but is played on the server over the network.

The following explains the steps I took to stream music from my laptop

1) I set my laptop’s static IP to 10.0.0.1

2) I installed the TightVNC viewer and VLC media player on my laptop

3) I launched the VNC viewer, typed in the server IP (10.0.0.5) and the password and remotely accessed the server

4) Using the VNC viewer on my laptop, I remotely launched VLC media player on the server. I then clicked on file-> open network stream, and set the address to udp://10.0.0.1 (Address of my laptop, where the files were located)

5) I launched VLC media player on my laptop, clicked on file -> open file

From the menu, I clicked on browse and selected a whole bunch of songs

I selected Stream/Save under Advanced Options, and in settings, selected UDP, and set address to 10.0.0.5 (Address of the server, where the files were to be played)

After this I pressed ok, and, the songs started playing on my stereo!

Using my laptop from anywhere in my house, I could remotely pause, play, forward, or change songs on the stereo.

Using VLC media player for Windows CE /Pocket PC, I can stream music from my HP iPAQ as well!

The second way

is to play songs locally stored on the server, by remotely accessing the server from another device.

The following are the steps I followed to accomplish this

1) I launched the VNC viewer on my laptop, and accessed the server as mentioned earlier

2) After launching VLC media player on the server, I clicked Settings -> Add Interface -> Web Interface

Enabling the web interface allows any device on the network to go to http://10.0.0.5:8080, and remotely control the music from there

Of course, I could have just used the VNC viewer to remotely control VLC media player, but enabling the web interface allows any device with wi-fi and a web browser to control the player. Therefore, even if a cell phone with wi-fi does not have a VNC viewer, it can use its browser to access the controls of VLC media player, and remotely control the music being played on the server.

Now you can use your handheld devices to control the music being played on your stereo system!

I hope this guide was helpful. If you run into any problems while setting this up, feel free to email me at hammadnaseem@gmail.com, with the subject “Wireless Stereo Help”.

NOTE: Anywhere in this guide, the word ‘server’ refers to the Dell computer
